There are many great communities here in the Northwest:
On the I-90 Cooridor (the more southern of the two floating bridges):
Mercer Island - Literally an island in the midst of Lake Washington - higher end homes, great schools
Preston - Simply not well known...but a great spot none the less
Fall City - A great Riverside Retreat
Snoqualmie - Beautiful Snoqualmie Falls, golfing, etc.
Carnation - A little further out, but worth the drive
North Bend - Known for its beauty just before you climb into the Cascades
Snoqualmie Pass - Home of the local ski areas
From South to North on the I-405 Cooridor:
Kent - A little further south...famous for the Boeing facilities
Renton - Also famous for Boeing and Kenworth...located on the south end of Lake Washington
Newcastle - Between Renton and Bellevue, a newer city with much to offer
Medina - Hunts Point - Clyde Hill - Yarrow Point - Beaux Arts Village - Smaller Very High-end Cities
Bothell - Known for its many smaller companies and more affordable communities
Kenmore - In many ways similar to Bothell, also located at the north end of Lake Washington
Woodinville - Known for it's wineries and breweries
Others not to be forgotten:
Maple Valley - Duvall - A little further out...a little less expensive
In Snohomish County - Monroe - The city of Snohomish - Affordable, yet a reasonable commute
